If you are a product leader who thrives in complex, data-rich environments and enjoy untangling legacy systems, aligning stakeholders, and turning ambiguity into clear, actionable delivery, then this role could be for you.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead a critical billing transformation initiative. This is an initial 3-month contract initially, offering the opportunity to shape a high-impact programme at the intersection of finance, data, and technology.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of understanding and redefining the current billing landscape, working across finance, operations, product, and engineering to build a clear picture of systems, data flows, and processes. From there, you’ll translate complexity into prioritised, delivery-ready requirements that enable a squad to move with clarity and confidence.
This role is about driving meaningful change in a data-heavy environment, where your ability to structure information and align stakeholders will directly influence outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
Engage with stakeholders across the business to deeply understand the current billing ecosystem
Map and document systems, data flows, operational processes, and dependencies
Translate insights into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Build and manage a prioritised product backlog aligned to business value and feasibility
Work closely with engineering and data teams to define data transformation and structure requirements
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and day-to-day delivery clarity
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and priorities
What you will deliver:
A clear, structured view of the current billing landscape
A prioritised backlog ready for delivery
Well-defined epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
Ongoing stakeholder alignment and communication
A final engagement summary with recommendations and next steps
What we are looking for:
Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager / Product Lead in complex environments
Strong background in data-heavy product work, including data analysis and transformation
Experience working closely with engineering and data teams
Ability to turn ambiguity into clear, structured, actionable requirements
Confident stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in billing, finance systems, or operational platforms is highly desirable
