Purpose of the job
The Strategy Analyst is a foundational role responsible for supporting Collinson International’s strategic planning and decision-making processes. Working closely with the Strategy Director and broader leadership team, the Strategy Analyst will provide structured analysis, data-driven insights, and research to inform business cases, market evaluations, and competitive assessments. This role is designed for individuals with early professional experience who are looking to build strong strategic capabilities in a global business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the review and refinement of Collinson International’s strategic priorities by conducting research and analysis
Build and maintain financial models, market sizing exercises, and benchmarking tools to support strategic projects
Gather, validate, and interpret macroeconomic, sectoral, and competitive data to underpin investment cases and planning processes
Maintain up-to-date trackers and dashboards on key market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
Prepare draft materials, reports, and presentations for leadership discussions and board-level reviews
Work with cross-functional teams to collect data inputs, ensure alignment, and provide analytical support for business plans
Deliver ad hoc analysis and research requests in a structured and timely manner
Support the Strategy Director in preparing the three-year plan, annual plans, and quarterly performance reviews
Assist in coordinating information flows between Collinson International and the Group Strategy team
Technical Competencies
Market sizing and competitor benchmarking
Data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) desirable
Research tools and business intelligence databases
Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies and frameworks
Typical Experience Requirements
1-2 years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, or market research
Exposure to working on multi-country or global projects preferred
Experience in financial services, payments, travel, or loyalty sectors advantageous
Proven ability to translate data into insights that inform decision-making
Experience delivering structured analysis for senior stakeholders
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline (required)
Master’s degree is advantageous but not essential
