Purpose of the job
The P2P Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of procurement, invoicing, and payment activities. This role leads the P2P team, ensuring adherence to internal controls, compliance with company policies, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency within the Finance department and supporting the P2P Manager in daily tasks as required
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of the P2P function, including purchase requisitions, supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and payment cycles, payment checks and verifications
Manage, coach, and support a team of P2P administrators to ensure high performance and development
Monitor and improve P2P process efficiency, identifying opportunities for automation and standardization
Act as the main point of contact for escalations related to vendor issues, invoice discrepancies, and payment delays
Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution
Ensure all transactions comply with internal financial controls, procurement policies, and tax regulations
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports as required
Generate regular reports and analysis on P2P performance metrics for Finance leadership
Maintain accurate vendor master data and oversee compliance with onboarding procedures
Knowledge, skills and experience required
3 – 5 years’ experience in a Supervisor Role with proven experience
Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Solid experience in Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or a similar finance function
Strong understanding of financial systems and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), Microsoft Dynamics will be a advantage
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Experience in a shared services or multinational environment
