Purpose of the job
Working within the Channel Marketing team at Collinson, you will take the lead on creating strategic marketing communications that drive engagement with our key clients and nurture relationships with issuers who embed Priority Pass and Lounge Key into their benefits programmes to reward and retain their most valuable cardholders.
You will work closely with regional marketing and global commercial teams to identify opportunities to drive impactful marketing that delivers key commercial and business objectives. Execution is an important element, and you will be required to produce high quality, impactful materials. This role has line management responsibility, and the candidate will be required to develop, coach and demonstrate best practice to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and motivate the client marketing team to deliver strategic key client priorities.
• Build strong relationships with the regional marketing managers and VPs, work with them to identify opportunities to spearhead global b2b marketing programmes and initiatives that deliver against commercial goals. Share best practice examples of b2b marketing across regions and strive for innovation and creativity in execution.
• Support key transformational initiatives that enhance our ability to track, analyse, and understand content engagement for client lens.
• Produce & quality control client marketing GTM collateral including Product overview decks, client FAQs, customer journeys, product adoption brand videos, sales enablement materials and client/issuer onboarding toolkits.
• Liaise with Global Account Directors and Account Managers to understand the motivations and behaviour of our key clients/ issuer banks; gather market intelligence of key competition and translate into valuable sales collateral with tangible proof points
• Keep abreast of latest product features and roadmap. Create GTM strategies to support new product releases and enhancements.
• Support with the Bimonthly Client Update and ad hoc comms for a global audience
• Marketing support for RFPs and business reviews, at a global/ regional level as required.
• Develop the communications strategy for the global key accounts, working in unison with the commercial teams and keeping regional teams informed on all planned activity.
• Confident using Salesforce and data analytics to support campaign planning and performance tracking. Skilled in email campaign management and optimisation, with strong data fluency — especially when working with complex audience segmentation.
• Monitor and report on the impact of engagement activities and overall plan in relevant forums
• Support with Client hub optimisation strategy for clients and issuers
• Manage team of 1-2 marketing execs
Knowledge, skills and experience required
• Degree educated or equivalent qualification
• 6/7 years’ experience in a b2c or b2b marketing communications role
• A track record in developing, delivering and leading marketing plans and creative communications in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• An experienced marketer who can quickly connect commercial objectives with marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
• Financial services, fintech or relevant travel background – knowledge of the payments industry and marketplace preferred
• Strong interest in travel and financial services trends and developments, particularly in terms of customer and digital trends.
• Exceptional project management, collaboration, problem-solving, organizational, writing and presentation skills.
• Can adapt to a changing business environment and shifting priorities.
• Strong IT skills and proficient in using MS Office and Adobe creative suite programs
• Collaborative skills: You will be expected to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. This will often include the commercial and wider marketing department, project managers, product & propositions team, data & insights and senior executives.
• Communication skills: The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to distil complex information into a digestible format for different audiences in addition to writing engaging copy and telling the ‘story’ of our product enhancements and innovations.
