Product Manager EMEA
Purpose of the job
Accountable for the overall success and performance of the product, the role is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including - gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, aligning with the the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure effective delivery of business goals and objectives. Working in close collaboration with key stakeholders, the Product
Manager plays a key role in identifying and creating defined product requirements, whilst ensuring a seamless process for all involved, ultimately turning vision into reality. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their needs, facilitating the adoption of our solutions effectively, and driving customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy
· Take full ownership of product initiatives – from ideation through opportunity assessment, solution delivery, and ‘to market’ success
· Create and manage the product roadmap, pursuing alignment across business, engineering, design, and marketing teams
· Write clear and concise product definitions capturing the vision, goals, and key elements of new offerings
· Prioritise between existing and new customers, features, architectural improvements and operational excellence
· Develop product pricing and positioning strategies · Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
· Ensure consistency in delivery of value, setting iteration priorities for several agile development teams
· Able to understand the trade-off between different priorities to deliver products solving customer problems to achieve business objectives Product Execution
· Lead end-to-end product development cycle from discovery to launch and iteration; · Scope and prioritise activities based on customer impact and business value
· Assess product designs, making specific recommendations for improvement
· Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
· Effectively communicate status, progress, and outcomes to senior management · Support the development team with queries
· Manage product roadmaps and releases
· Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and sample Data Driven and Customer Centric
· Gain an in-depth understanding of the customer's experience, identifying and filling product gaps, whilst generating new ideas to grow adoption and improve customer experience
· Understand consumption patterns and user journeys in context of product usage, to create new, engaging experiences
· Analyse key data to identify issues and discover opportunities to develop new product features
· Explore customer and business needs and feedback, reviewing various options, and mock-up prototype solutions
· Define a set of KPIs to measure business impact with the ability to analyse and utilise them in decision-making processes
· Represent the customer (proxy) within the development process · Determine feature requirements Influencing People
· Motivate and inspire the product team and stakeholders to champion the product vision, goals, strategy, and benefits throughout the company
· Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners · Collaborate with business partners to facilitate meetings for business requirements definition, technical requirements elicitation, integration specification updates, request data samples, and articulate dependencies
· Manage incoming escalations, analysing issues and engaging the team into problem framing and ideation processes to deliver the most optimal solution
· Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
· Manage cross-functional teams Client needs
· Feedback and Insights: Gather client feedback and provide insights to internal teams to influence product development and improvements.
· Performance Metrics: Track client success metrics, such as product usage, satisfaction, and retention rates, providing regular reports to management.
· Client Advocacy: Advocate for client needs across internal departments to ensure the client voice is heard in product and service discussions.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
· Proven experience in product management and product development
· Strong communication skills
· Strong customer focus and empathy
· Take-charge mentality, growth mindset, detail-oriented
· Experience delivering results in a data-driven environment
· Ability to interpret feedback from various stakeholders to evaluate performance of services, platform, or processes, and develop recommendations on how best to address for both the near term and long term solutions
· Ability to research and analyse business information to develop an understanding of the industry and competitive environment
· Demonstrated success implementing and managing digital asset management solutions and/or workflows in a complex or creative environment
· Strong track record of positive team collaboration and partnership
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating and conflicting priorities and deadlines
· Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and to direct others’ work
· Experience in the travel industry is a plus
